When learning jazz we start by learning tunes.
Learning tunes from the American songbook is one of the most important ways how you learn jazz.
Why is this? Is what I am going to discuss in this video. 
I also believe there are certain standards that give you a headstart when you have to learn jazz. 
Therefore I have made the list of the 10 most important tunes to learn first – including the why’s and how’s.
