Articulation is one of the most important parts of jazz playing and generally saxophone playing.
When you get your articulation right you get a much more defined and clear jazz language!
With articulation the biggest aspects of jazz playing comes together – timing and phrasing!

Scale patterns – 3 scale patterns you must learn
Training your scale patterns is great exercise, but are you training the right scale patterns?
Are you actually using the patterns you are training in your playing?
You do not want to use hours of practice time on something which you can not directly apply to your playing and improvising.
You want to practice the patterns which you actually do use and which sounds the best when playing and using these in your improvisation.
